Knights of Columbus Council 1489

We are the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council 1489. We are the council for The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located in Rapid City, SD.
Brief History
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by a 29-year-old parish priest, Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney, in the basement of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut. Today, more than a century later, the Knights of Columbus has become the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council 1489 was established in May 1910.
Meetings
We meet in the basement of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 520 Cathedral Drive, Rapid City SD on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM for a family social, and 7:30 PM for our regular meeting.
We hold our business meeting monthly at 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of the month.
